Via ferratas in the Gastein Valley

Learning the right climbing technique, creating confidence in the equipment.

We start on an easy practice via ferrata. After intensive training, we climb a via ferrata adapted to our ability on the Schlossalm.

Due to the easy accessibility via the Schloßalmbahn and the short access, this offer is equally suitable for adults and families and can be booked daily during the opening times of the gondola lift.

Contents:

• Walking in pathless terrain
• Climbing technology and safety technology on via ferratas
• correct equipment for via ferratas
• additional safety technology for children on via ferrata

Meeting point:

9.00 a.m. Schloßalmbahn valley station

• Training on the practice via ferrata until noon
• lunch break
• Afternoon – application of what has been learned on a via ferrata

Requirement:

• Surefootedness and a head for heights
• Children from 10 years
