3 1/2 days ski tours in the Rauris valley with Sonnblick and Hocharn

Long, high-alpine ski tours in the Rauris Valley; Hocharn – highest mountain in the Goldberg group!



Requirements:

  • safe parallel skiing in all types of snow
  • Experience in walking with skins and mastering the hairpin bend
  • Condition of approx. 6-8 hours

1 day

Meeting and driveway to the Naturfreundehaus Kolm Saigurn, 1,596 m. Meeting point at 4 p.m. in the rear Rauris Valley at the Gasthaus Bodenhaus, 1,230 m. Driveway with the car via the toll road to the Lenzanger car park. Short ascent to the hut. Dinner and program briefing.


Day 2: Kolmkarspitz 2529m

Ascending through the through forest to a forest road. On this road to the Filzenalm (1,784 m). Briefly through light forest north-east on a wide ridge, which you follow with increasing steepness eastwards to Seekopf (2,413 m). Continue on the narrowing ridge to the summit.

Day 3: Hocharn 3254m

One of the most fantastic ski tours in the Eastern Alps. Ascent near Lacheggklamm, steeply up to the ramp under the Sonnblick. On fantastic ski slopes with a steady incline to the summit.

Day 4: Hoher Sonnblick 3105m

Over the Melcherböden to the Naturfreundehaus, past the Rojacher Hut (2,718 m). Moderately steep slopes up to the Zittelhaus summit. Descent via Ochsenkarkees to the parking lot. Departure at 4 p.m. and departure.
